The PCM120 equipment multiplexes 0-120 channels of voice data into 4-16 E1 data. As an equipment which has import quality and based on SEL Company in Pairs. With stable working characteristic the PCM120 is able to be used in 50KV electric power substations and 220V electric power substations. Each interface has many protection circuits. Stainless steel with Alloy oxidation Aluminum board make the sub-frame not change color. Two power channels to constitute 1+1 protection. 4 channels can be plugged in central multiplex unit, each central multiplex unit has 4 E1 ports, so there are totally 4-16 E1 ports, 12 channels remaining for inserting various service cards. To use 10 channels each unit, 6U sub-frame has 120 channels which equivalent 4 PCM equipments. 

   16 E1 ports have the ability of cross-connect 512X512 time slots flexibly, With the help of network management software, the PCM equipment could select routing port automatically. 16 E1 routing-proposals can be defined in accordance with the E1 quantity for auto routing switch. In fact, 12 channels for the service card can be plugged in multiplex unit, So if necessary, the equipment could upgrade to 64 E1 and work as a completely cross-connect equipment.

  This equipment can work as 16 PCM that is the other way to explain the cross-connect. Like other PCM made by our company, PCM120 has various of service interfaces, including 2100HZ carrier magnets interfaces that is used in military, stereo signal interfaces in broadcasting radio and so on. The most application of the interfaces is S and O interfaces of the telephone, 2/4 wire interface and various
